Layla Sargent is founder & CEO of The Seam, the UK’s fastest growing care and repair platform. Layla was raised by her grandmother, a professional dressmaker for more than 65 years. When she moved to London in 2019, without her grandmother nearby to help her care for her wardrobe, Layla discovered a gap in the market for wardrobe repairs that were easy to book online, from trusted local Makers. She built The Seam to connect people and brands with care and repair providers across the UK. The Seam currently serves customers directly, as well as provides repairs for Net A Porter, COS, Adidas, LK Bennett and many other retailers.
