Born in 1975, Paulo holds a degree in Aerospace Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico de Lisboa, a PhD in E-Marketing from ISEG (Instituto Superior de Economia e Gestão), a PhD from ISEG e Strategic Marketing, and most recently started his PhD in Financial Analysis also at ISEG.

He was an early entrepreneur having started his first company at the age of 16. He was one of the first to actively work in the Internet Realm, and later was responsible for large ERP and CRM projects for Fortune 500 companies.

In 2009, he worked at Google as an Account Manager, responsible for managing an online ads budget of approximately 12 Million Euros, for brands like Vodafone, Barclays Bank, Century 21, and others.

In 2010, he was the Chief Innovation Officer for the development of Portugal’s largest indoor digital advertising network, that included more then 30 large shopping malls across the country. This project was acquired by JCDecaux in early 2013.
