Prior to Wingpay, Geri founded and led several companies in the circular economy space, achieving international recognition within the consumer, business, and investor communities. His last venture-Twig, known also as the Bank of Things founded in 2020, became the fastest growing fintech inEurope, getting over 1 million downloads in under 290 days with leading positions in the US, UK and Italian app stores.
Geri has amassed several awards through his entrepreneurial journey. This includes the Fast Company’s award as the World’s Changing Idea in 2022, among an accolade of awards and
nominations across finance, sustainability, and innovation at large. Geri was also listed as a Forbes 30 under 30 for Retail and Ecommerce in 2020 whereby he co- founded Monochain (the world’s first NFT deployment in the fashion industry), Social DNA (which was acquired by Levi’s).
In addition to his entrepreneurial and executive pursuits, Geri supports academic endeavours, acted as a visiting lecturer at the University of Bath and Edinburgh, as well as UCL
